Who is eligible for a VAT refund in Sri Lanka?

To qualify under the Tourist VAT Refund Scheme (TVRS), you must:

Spend LKR 50,000 or more (excluding VAT) at TVRS-authorized stores

Be a non-citizen and non-resident of Sri Lanka

Hold a visitor visa (not student or resident visa)

Be 18 years or older

Stay in Sri Lanka less than 90 days
